CARBON: Accounting, Auditing and Improving

When an organization, large or small, decides to be more environmentally responsible, they must measure their progress with carbon relative performance indicators. When measuring carbon performance businesses need to be able to manage and improve their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. In this class, we will give full treatment to carbon dioxide accounting, auditing and managing emission improvements.

We will examine three types of emissions that have become standardized throughout the GHG emission reporting industry: scope 1, 2, and 3. We will examine how to development a baseline and document a carbon footprint and as a final topic, we will cover the methods of continuous improvement in carbon relative technologies and practices.
